WELCOME TO MANOR GARDENS CENTRE WEBSITE
Manor Gardens Centre in Islington has pioneered community healthcare projects for nearly 100 years. Today it is a unique community health centre incorporating a wide range of services. Manor Gardens Centre’s projects are innovative and carefully targeted at the most disadvantaged groups in our community. We also run a popular healthy eating Cafe which incorporates a training kitchen.
Over 2,000 people use the Centre every week. Current projects include Community Kitchens and the Heart & Stroke Project. Manor Gardens Centre is the largest concentration of the voluntary sector in Islington: 50 organisations deliver activities at the Centre plus it is permanent home to 17 local groups including MIND, Age Concern, Islington Volunteer Centre, Solace Women’s Aid and the Women’s Therapy Centre.
The Centre’s next big project is a £3 million capital project that will completely modernise and upgrade all of the Victorian buildings that make up the Centre and make the Centre more accessible.
