Our staff and 25 volunteers work hard to ensure that everyone affected by stroke in Islington gets the support they need.
How we can help
If you or a loved one have been affected by stroke, we can help you re-adjust to your new circumstances and begin the journey to optimal recovery. We run a variety of activities and can help in lots of different ways.
Individual support: if you or a family member have recently been affected by stroke, and you would like to talk about your individual needs and how local services are working for you, then we can help. Find out how.
Stroke clubs: if you would like to meet others affected by stroke, our member-led Stroke Clubs have activities that can help in your recovery. Find out how.
How can I support the stroke service?
We could not make half the difference we do without the help of dedicated supporters. Our volunteers come from all walks of life: social work trainees, medical students, gardeners and lots more. If you would like to gain real professional skills whilst making a huge difference to the lives of people affected by stroke, do visit our volunteer page.
